What Are Deck Jets and Laminars?
Deck Jets: Subtle, Elegant Water Arcs
Deck jets are installed flush with your pool deck or hardscape and shoot narrow arcs of water into the pool. They’re often used in groups of 2–6 to create rhythm and visual appeal. These jets can be customized in terms of arc height, angle, and flow.
Laminars: Perfectly Clear Water Streams
Laminars offer a glass-like, uninterrupted arc of water that appears to float in mid-air. When combined with LED lighting, they create a colorful nighttime spectacle. Laminars are perfect for homeowners looking for a high-end water feature with strong visual impact.
Benefits of Installing Deck Jets and Laminars
Create Resort-Level Visual Appeal
These features add motion and sparkle to your pool, elevating the design from basic to breathtaking. When used with LED lighting, laminars offer dramatic nighttime effects.
Family Fun & Kid-Friendly
Deck jets are fun and interactive—kids love playing with the arcs of water, making them both decorative and functional additions.
Minimal Space, Maximum Impact
Unlike larger water features such as grottos or waterfalls, deck jets and laminars take up minimal space and can be added even in compact pool areas.
Design Options and Customization
Integrated Lighting
Add LED lights to your laminars to transform your pool into a dazzling light show. These are available in programmable color options or single-color LEDs.
Sound Control
Laminars create a quieter, bubble-free stream, perfect for tranquil pool environments, while deck jets offer a soft splashing sound ideal for masking background noise.
Arc & Flow Adjustments
Control the direction, angle, and pressure of your jets to match your pool’s dimensions and style.
Our Featured Projects
Perfect Pairings and Feature Integration
Combine with Fire Features
Pair deck jets or laminars with fire bowls for a captivating contrast between fire and water elements.
Accent Raised Walls or Spas
Install jets along raised pool walls or spa spillways to enhance vertical movement and create a more dynamic aesthetic.
Pool Automation Compatibility
Integrate these features into your pool’s automation system to control flow and lighting with the touch of a button—perfect for smart pool upgrades.
Installation and Maintenance Tips
Proper Placement
Our team ensures that deck jets and laminars are installed with the correct elevation, distance, and angle for seamless performance and stunning effect.
Low Maintenance
These features require minimal upkeep—regular cleaning of the nozzles and keeping water chemistry balanced is usually enough to maintain clear flow.
Year-Round Use
Because Southern California experiences mild winters, these water features can be enjoyed almost year-round without winterization.
