What Are Swim-Up Bars and In-Pool Table Tops?
Swim-Up Bars
A swim-up bar is a submerged countertop area built into your pool, often connected to an outdoor kitchen or dry bar. It includes underwater seating—typically in the form of in-pool bar stools—so swimmers can enjoy beverages or snacks without leaving the water.
In-Pool Table Tops
Table tops are shallow in-water platforms with built-in center poles and seats. Perfect for card games, drinks, or snacks, they create an inviting spot to unwind with friends or family.
Why Add a Swim-Up Bar or Table Top?
Ultimate Backyard Entertainment
Swim-up bars and in-pool tables offer the perfect setting for pool parties, happy hours, and casual outdoor meals—all without stepping out of the water.
Enhances Property Value
Features like these elevate your outdoor space with a luxurious, resort-style ambiance that stands out in the real estate market.
Ideal for Social Gatherings
Pair them with a nearby BBQ island or outdoor kitchen to create a cohesive entertainment space where guests can interact effortlessly across wet and dry zones.
Design Options for Swim-Up Bars and Tables
Integrated Seating
Bar stools and table seats are typically built into the pool floor using tile, concrete, or custom materials. They can be round, square, or uniquely shaped to suit your pool’s design.
Countertop Materials
Choose from luxurious finishes like granite, quartz, or travertine for the bar top—each offering water resistance and style. These materials also complement custom pool coping and tile.
Tanning Ledges and Baja Shelves
Incorporate table tops into shallow tanning ledges or Baja shelves for the ultimate lounging and dining hybrid experience.
